Things To Do In Branson In June – Our Midwest Road Trip ended with a five night stay in Branson, MO. As soon as we pulled into town, we knew this wasn’t going to be a week of hanging around the camp. For example, we were greeted with impressive, brightly colored buildings, including an upside-down building, a building with a giant King Kong hanging from it, and one that looked like the Titanic with water jets out the front. I call Branson, the family-friendly, gambling-free version of Vegas, because of the billboards, amusement park rides, and cartoon-like buildings that welcome visitors with endless fun. In this post, I’ll cover the things we visited on our trip and many other things to do in Branson Mo with kids.

Branson’s Track Family Fun Center is spread over three locations. We had a wristband for two hours of endless kart rides, the Branson Ferris Wheel, and other sports history.
The continuously rotating Ferris wheel offers great views of the city and has an interesting history. Read about transfers from Chicago while you wait to board the tour.
Fun Things To Do In Branson, Missouri As A Family Or Couple
We had a lot of fun in the transportation and reached two places within our two hours of carriage time. There are songs for all stages and ages making it suitable for the whole family. Our favorite was Heavy Metal High Rise! Tip: Go early. We started our two hours around 6:00 Thursday night. We had a short wait the first time. As it turned out, our stay was long. 🤑 Get your discount ticket here. 🤑
We had so much fun at the playground that we came back the next day! My favorite game was the Connect Four basketball game. It was a great friendly competition.
I enjoyed this, but I was afraid that my children would get bored. However, they enjoyed it as much as I did. My six year old thinks this is one of the best things we did that week!
When you reach the first line you are given a “boarding pass”. On the passport there is a story about a person who boarded the Titanic. When you go through the museum, you have to “walk in their shoes” and imagine what it would be like to live on the ship. You were also given an audio player. An audio tour comes with your ticket at no extra cost. This museum offers books for adults and children. My six-year-old was fascinated by the numbers on the wall that indicated the next draw. The interactive pieces of the museum were great fun for the kids.

At the end of the museum, you will find out if the person on your boarding pass survived the shipwreck. If so, you can learn what they did throughout their lives. This was a great history lesson for my kids!
I was surprised that my family really enjoyed this program. My kids were dancing in their seats and screaming with joy as they cheered on our “team” and all the performers. I was surprised at how delicious the food was. How they feed so many people so quickly and the food is still amazing is beyond me. I would love to see how the kitchen works. In addition, it was six tons of food per person. We had enough food for lunch the next day.
Branson Tourism Center
This show was so much fun and kept my kids entertained for every minute of it. In addition to Hamner’s magic, the show featured many other different acts. For example, an award-winning singer, lasso expert, athlete, and my favorite, a voiceover artist who has impersonated Elvis, Sammy Davis Jr., and more in one song.
There were only three things I remembered from my past trips to the city as a child and one was Mel’s Hard Luck Diner. I mean, who can forget being entertained by a server? Yes that is correct. The waiters and waitresses sing and are very talented. As we served our large portions of dessert, our server took the microphone and “karaoked” “Sugar, Sugar.” To be honest, I wasn’t very happy with our dinner and they didn’t have much outside of it. We approached closing time. Maybe the food is better during the day. However, the flavors were amazing. Expect a long wait for a table.
Because of the long wait, I almost added this one to my list of things to do with kids in Branson, MO. Because everything is made from scratch, it took a while to get our food and my kids got restless. However, the food was a hit and in the end it was worth the wait. Consider bringing something fun for the kids.
Sometimes it’s the little things. We have a saying in our house that it is impossible to be sad while eating ice cream. I took the kids to Branson Landing in Historic Downtown Branson for a party at Kilwins. My daughter got a condom and I got their amazing fudge.

My family loves ice cream, but usually snow. My youngest chose the snow from the Snowie stand at Branson Landing for ice cream this time and only managed to knock a small piece down.
We decided to end our last night at home with another sweet. This time we’re hitting up Sweet Susie’s. The frozen yogurt was delicious, but expensive. Patrons fill their own cups with toppings. With so much choice, it’s easy to accumulate. When you get to the registry you will be charged the weight of your cup.
We’ve done our share of rolling cages, but not mountain cages! There are others i
