Our Midwest Road trip ended with a five-night stay in Branson, MO. As soon as we arrived in town we knew this wasn’t going to be a week of lounging around the campsite. For example, we were greeted by brightly colored luxury buildings, including an upside-down house, a building with a giant King Kong hanging from it, and a building shaped like the Titanic with water splashing forward. I call Branson, the family-friendly version of Vegas, minus the gambling, because billboards for shows, amusement park rides and cartoon buildings welcome visitors with an atmosphere of unlimited entertainment. The Best Things To Do In Branson In June 2022

We had so much fun at the arcade that we went back the next day! My favorite game is the big Connect Four basketball game. It’s the perfect family-friendly competition.

I’m excited about this one, but worried my kids will get bored. However, they enjoyed it as much as I did. My six year old son rated it as one of the best things we did that week!

When you first enter the queue, you are given “pass”. On the pass is the story of a real passenger who was on the Titanic. As you walk through the museum, you can “walk in their shoes” and imagine what it was like to be on board. You also get an audio player. The audio tour is included with your ticket at no extra cost. The museum provides adult recordings and children’s recordings. My six-year-old was happily looking for the number on the wall that indicated the next recording. The interactive pieces of the museum are the most fun for children.

How Branson Missouri Is Modernizing And Remaining Relevant

💪🏽 Simulate shoveling coal in a furnace to feel how heavy and stressful the job is

At the end of the museum, you will find out if the person on your pass survived the shipwreck. If so, you will find out about what he has been doing for the rest of his life. What a wonderful history lesson this is for my kids!

I was actually surprised how much my family enjoyed this show. My kids danced in their seats and screamed with delight as they cheered on our “team” and all the performers. I was even more surprised at how delicious the food was. How they feed so many people so fast and the food is still amazing. I want to see how the kitchen works. Plus, it’s a ton of food per person. We had plenty of leftovers for lunch the next day.

This show is so much fun to watch and keeps my kids entertained every minute. In addition to Hamner’s magic, the show featured a variety of other shows. For example, an award-winning singer, a lasso champion, an acrobat and my favorite, an Elvis impersonator, Sammy Davis Jr., and several others all in the same song.
