West Highland White Terriers – The Westie Highland White Terrier, commonly known as the Westie, is a small, powerfully built dog and one of the most popular terriers. They have black noses and almond-shaped, wide, dark brown eyes and triangular and erect ears. The tail is webbed and often described as scaly.
Westerners have a double coat. The outer coat is 2 inches long and straight and hard, with a soft undercoat. The only coat color for this breed is white, hence the breed’s name.
