How To Deal With Difficult People Book – In The Art and Science of Managing Difficult People, David Brown outlines seven relationship building principles that are critical to creating a successful work environment. Brown breaks down each principle to provide easy-to-understand instructions and universally applicable management skills.
Brown’s philosophy is to approach workplace conflict as a problem from a low-level managerial perspective. He offers advice on how to treat employees while asking leaders to reflect and make changes that facilitate a more efficient workplace. Readers will gain a deeper understanding of how their employees perceive management staff, which leadership skills are most effective, and how to ensure two-way communication. Using Brown’s proven tools, anyone can learn how to focus, how to motivate, build trust and form a psychological contract.
