Fun Things In Branson Mo – Our midwest road trip ended with a five-night stay in Branson, MO. As we entered town, we knew this was not going to be a week of touring camp. For example, we were greeted with colorful buildings, including a house in the backyard, a building with a giant King Kong hanging from it, and one shaped like a Titanic. I call Branson the family version of Las Vegas, without the gambling, because billboards for live entertainment, carnival rides and cartoon buildings welcome visitors with a state of endless fun. In this post, I describe the attractions we visited during our trip and list many things to do in Branson Mo with kids.

We had an absolute blast on the slopes and got to two of the venues within two hours of travel time. There are songs for all levels and ages so it is suitable for the whole family. Our favorite is Heavy Metal High Rise! Tip: go early. We start two hours around 6:00 on Thursday night. The first hour we had a short wait. As he found out later, our wait was long. 🤑 Get your discount tickets here. 🤑
We had so much fun at the theater that we came back for more the next day! My favorite game is the Connect Four basketball game. It is a family competition.
I am happy about this, but I am afraid that my children will get bored. However, they enjoyed it as much as I did. My six year old son rated it as one of the best things we did this week!
When he first trains, he is given a “boarding pass”. On the pass is the story of a real passenger on the Titanic. As he walks through the museum, he can “walk in his shoes” and imagine what it would be like to be on board. He is also given an audio device. An audio tour comes with your ticket at no additional cost. The museum offers recordings for adults and recordings for children. My six year old son had a blast looking for the numbers on the wall that indicated the next record. The interactive aspects of the museum are more fun for children.

🛳 Stand on the hull of a ship from multiple angles to feel what it feels like to stand on a sinking ship at different times during the dive.
💪🏽 Simulate charcoal in the oven to feel how heavy and difficult this task will be.
At the end of the museum, you will find out if your passenger’s person survived the plane crash. If so, you can find out what he or she continues to do with the rest of their life. This is a great history lesson for my kids!
I was surprised how much my family enjoyed this show. My children danced in their seats and whooped with joy as they cheered on “our team” and all the actors. I was even more surprised at how delicious the food was. How they feed so many people so quickly and the food is still amazing is beyond me. I’d love to see how this kitchen goes. Plus, it’s a ton of food for each person. We had plenty of leftovers to feed us for lunch the next day.
Fun Things To Do In Downtown Branson (with The Kids!)
This show was so much fun to watch and kept my kids entertained every minute of it. In addition to Hamner’s magic, the show has a variety of other activities. For example, an award-winning singer, a lasso champion, acrobats, and my favorite, an Elvis impersonator, Sammy Davis Jr., and many others, all in one song.
I only remember three things from my childhood visits to the city and one is Mel’s Hard Luck Diner. I mean, who can forget that their employee has disappeared? Yes, that is correct. The waiters and waitresses sing and are very talented. While serving the ridiculously large desserts, our waiter took the microphone and karaoked “Sugar, Sugar.” To be honest, he wasn’t interested in our dinner and it was a lot of fixings. We’re getting close to closing time. Perhaps the food is better at the beginning of the day. However, the desserts were amazing. expect a long wait for a table.
Due to the long wait, I almost didn’t add this to my list of things to do with kids in Branson, MO. Because everything was made from scratch it took a while to get our food and my kids were restless. However the food was weak and ended up being worth the wait. Just consider bringing something to keep the kids entertained.
Sometimes it’s the little things. We have a saying in our house that it is impossible to be sad while eating ice cream. Took the kids to Branson Landing in historic downtown Branson for some Kilwins fun. My daughter got a cone and I tried her famous fudge.

Ice cream is my family’s favorite, but snow is no fun. My youngest chose a snow cone from the Snowie stand at Branson Landing over ice cream this time and only managed to drop a small piece to the ground.
We decided to end our last night in the city with a little more fun. This time we hit Sweet Susie’s. The frozen yogurt is delicious, but expensive. Customers fill their own cups with ingredients. With so much to choose from, it’s easy to stock up. When you arrive at the register you will be charged the weight of your glass.
We rolled quite a bit, but no rock! there’s a lot in that
