Fall Farmhouse Front Porch

We have a small back entrance. I guess you could call it a porch even if it wasn’t covered. We don’t have a garage so this is where we park our cars, so we use this door a lot. For Christmas I painted the back door to match our front door. I also added a beautiful Delaney Hardware front door. I switched out the motion sensor light for a nice hanging lamp. It made such a difference!

Since the area is not that big, I thought it would be good to add some vertical plants. I took this screen and added hanging pot screens to the screen with clips that attach to the screen and rings that match the pots. This screen will be great in the kitchen and you can pour your vegetables to use all year round!

A bold doorknob can really make a statement in a small foyer. I used this cute tiger door and I love the contrast of the green door and the pink door!

With some space on my porch for letters, I was able to decorate a little for spring. But I still keep the overall vibe simple with some simple projects!

The faux olive wreath around the door feels fresh. I brought our fake olives out and put them in a basket of cut shells!

This is an easy five-minute wreath. He took a wreath of leaves and added a giant cane egg. I used wire to attach the egg to the fabric. I have a matching shed basket that I keep in my entryway.

Doorways are a great way to add color to your spring porch. Instead of a traditional doormat, I added a soft pink gingham rug. It fits my door and is washable which is a good idea in spring, things can get wet this time of year.

Spring can be quite chilly, so cool pillows and throws are perfect for those chilly mornings or evenings. This blanket is so sweet and soft and I love the little ruffles on the bottom. I brought a bench to one side of the porch in front of the fountain door.
